I Helped Rebuild Minot

The summer of 2011 has been one of disaster and despair for Minot, North Dakota and the surrounding area. On June 22nd, massive amounts of floodwaters rushed into the heart of the city flooding thousands of homes. The waters did not leave quickly: it stayed for several weeks, slowly destroying everything it touched. When the Souris River finally re-entered its banks, the damage left behind was unimaginable. Thousands of homes were left severely damaged or destroyed, and more than 12,000 people were left homeless.  Even today, nearly 10,000 are still unable to move back into their devastated homes. Many now equate Minot's valley to a "war zone". But there is hope for the people of Minot.

I Helped Rebuild Minot is an effort to turn things around, and you can help.

Purchase an I Helped Rebuild Minot "Sheetrock Shirt", and all proceeds after costs will go toward buying Sheetrock for those impacted by the flood.

Our project has already provided sheetrock for hundreds of homeowners, but so much more is needed. In addition to purchasing a shirt, you can also donate additional funds to our cause if you wish by using the t-shirt order form.

We're all in this together, and together, we can help rebuild Minot…..one sheet of sheetrock at a time.
